Yesterday, in our match preview we dabbled on the subject of the Crewe defender, Billy Jones, possibly being available.

After his sending off against Tranmere, Crewe had hoped to get the red card rescinded.

However, they failed and Jones will now not be available to try and cope with the twin threat of Craig Mackail-Smith and Aaron McLean.

It can be a hard life when you`re rooted at the bottom, not that we`re complaining!

Get stuck into them lads!
