Whilst the search for a striker goes on Darren Ferguson has admitted that Danny Wright still interests him.
The striker, who played for our second string this week, is with us for a period with the blessing of Histon, who we seem to be on very friendly terms with just lately!
However, perhaps in a reality check for us all, Danny also has a job with his football coming as a hobby, I guess Histon are not that flush with cash.
But, reading between the lines, Wright is seen more as a long term project with Ferguson remarking to the local media,
‘I must admit I am surprised Danny has not already been snapped up.”
‘We won’t be doing anything immediately but we will certainly continue to monitor his progress.’
I bet the lads is cream crackered having to work this hard!
